EU Commissioner Kos announced the rapid distribution of a €90 billion loan. The funds will be disbursed after the resumption of oil transit through the Druzhba pipeline.
If the Druzhba oil pipeline, through which Hungary receives Russian oil, resumes operation, the EU will quickly begin distributing a 90 billion euro loan to Ukraine, said European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, arriving at a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council on Tuesday, writes UNN.

Kos stated that she has "three positive messages" regarding Ukraine.
The first is that if oil starts flowing through the Druzhba pipeline in the coming days, we will be able to very quickly start distributing a 90 billion euro loan to Ukraine.
"The second positive signal is that Ukraine and Moldova are ready to officially open all six clusters, and we are also ready. So I hope that the (EU) Council will act quickly," Kos noted.
And the third positive signal, according to her, is that "Ukraine has carried out many reforms in recent weeks." "That is why we will be able to allocate up to 2.7 billion euros for their budget and ensure liquidity," Kos pointed out.
