In Myanmar, a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 has killed 694 people and injured 1,670. The epicenter was near Mandalay, and tremors were felt in several Asian countries.

The death toll from the powerful earthquake in Myanmar has reached 694, with another 1,670 injured. This was reported on social network X (Twitter) by the news agency AFP, citing the authorities, reports UNN.
As a reminder, the earthquake in Myanmar with a magnitude of 7.7 caused large-scale destruction throughout the country, on the territory of which a civil war is taking place. The epicenter of the tremors was recorded near the city hospital of the second largest city of Myanmar – Mandalay. There was a partial collapse of the mosque.
On Friday, March 28, it became known about a strong earthquake, which affected several countries in Southeast Asia at once – Thailand, Myanmar, Bangladesh and India.
