Dynamo Kyiv defeated Serbian Partizan 6-2 in the first match of the second round of the Champions League qualifiers. Goals were scored by Shaparenko, Brazhko, Karavayev, Kabaev, Popov, and Pikhalenok.

In the first match of the second round of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers, Dynamo Kyiv defeated Partizan Serbia 6-2.
The match started with an early goal for Dynamo, where the Serbian team opened the scoring in the 22nd minute thanks to a penalty kick. However, the Ukrainians responded quickly, and Mykola Shaparenko restored parity at the end of the first half. Volodymyr Brazhko and Oleksandr Karavayev continued Dynamo's offensive onslaught, putting the team ahead. The teams went into the break with the score 3-1 in favor of Kyiv.
The second half began with new attacks by Dynamo. Vladislav Kabayev scored the fourth goal, but the Serbian team managed to pull one back. In the 83rd minute, Denys Popov seemed to have finally decided the fate of the match, but Oleksandr Pikhalonok scored the sixth goal for Dynamo in the 90+2nd minute, ending the match with a 6-2 victory.
