Drug trafficking scheme set up in Kryvyi Rih pre-trial detention center: "warden" and his accomplices exposed

Law enforcement officers exposed three members of an organized group involved in drug trafficking in the Kryvyi Rih SIZO. The suspects include a life-long 'lookout', another prisoner and the organizer's wife.
In Kryvyi Rih, three members of an organized group engaged in the sale of drugs and psychotropic substances in prisons were exposed. Among the dealers are two prisoners and the wife of one of them. UNN reports this with reference to the Dnipropetrovs'k Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, a man serving a life sentence, the so-called "warden" of the penitentiary, organized drug trafficking to the SIZO.
To implement the plan, he involved his wife and another prisoner. The latter would buy cannabis, methadone, methamphetamine and pass it on to the organizer's wife.
Illicit substances were brought to the territory of the SIZO during the couple's visits. Later, the "watcher" distributed drugs among other prisoners.
As a result of 15 searches, slip packs with drugs, cannabis smoking devices, mobile phones, computer equipment, bank cards, flash drives, SIM cards, draft records, and cash were seized. A number of examinations have been ordered.
Three members of the organized group were served a notice of suspicion of illegal acquisition, storage, transportation with intent to sell, transfer and sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in places of detention (Part 3 Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The drug dealer's wife was detained.
A pre-trial restraint in the form of detention has been imposed on her.
