According to the publication, on August 9 at around 1:20 p.m., the Ștefan Vodă police received a report of a powerful explosion near the settlement of Crocmaz. A vegetation fire broke out after the explosion, and specialized units were dispatched to the scene to establish the circumstances and causes of the explosion, as well as to extinguish the fire.

Fragments of a combat drone were discovered at the scene. Police established that no one was injured as a result of the object's fall and the subsequent fire. Specialists from the police department for explosives and technical expertise are heading to the scene. They will provide more detailed information after a visual inspection and then after a specialized examination

Specialized police units are currently continuing to work at the scene and establish all the circumstances of the explosion.
