Yulia Svyrydenko discussed the implementation of the $8.1 billion program with the IMF mission. Next week, the Rada will consider amendments to the 2026 state budget.

Deputy Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko met with the IMF mission led by Gavin Gray, which has been in Kyiv these days despite hostile mass shelling, and "informed the mission representatives about the joint work of the Government and Parliament of Ukraine on fulfilling the program's structural benchmarks," UNN reports.

As Svyrydenko reported, during the meeting, they discussed the status of the program's implementation under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF). The total volume of the program is $8.1 billion.

Next week, we expect a vote on amendments to the State Budget of Ukraine for 2026, which should take into account the key needs of defense capability, as well as the economic, energy, and social resilience of the state. We must be as prepared as possible for the next winter period
In addition, according to Svyrydenko, during the meeting they "welcomed the progress towards implementing reforms for which Ukraine has obligations to partners, and confirmed the readiness to continue the de-shadowing of the economy and work on increasing Ukraine's investment attractiveness."
