Uzhhorod City Council deputy Myroslav Horvat, who was the head of one of the subdivisions of the Department of Social Policy, has been suspended from his duties. Earlier, the official was caught red-handed extorting money from conscripts applying for a draft deferment.

A court has suspended Myroslav Horvat, who was detained by the Security Service of Ukraine in Uzhhorod City Council and who extorted money from conscripts applying for a deferment of conscription for family reasons, from the post of head of one of the subdivisions of the Department of Social Policy of Uzhhorod City Council. This was reported by the SBU Office in Transcarpathian region, UNN reports.
