The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has canceled the night arrest of former intelligence officer Roman Chervinsky. This is reported by UNN with reference to lawyer Kostiantyn Hloba.

Details

As the lawyer noted, based on the submitted objections and materials, his client's preventive measure was changed to a personal obligation.

This result more than convincingly demonstrates the motives of the recent media attack on me. The court also applied the norms of the Constitution of Ukraine as norms of direct effect when making decisions. This procedural gesture is not typical of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv, but it really happened

- Hloba wrote.

Addition

In July 2024, Roman Chervinsky in the bribery case was chosen a preventive measure in the form of round-the-clock house arrest.

Later, the former intelligence officer left the Kropyvnytskyi pre-trial detention center. A bail of 9 million 84 thousand hryvnias was paid for him.

In May 2025, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv extended Chervinsky's round-the-clock house arrest.

Reminder

The police launched an investigation into the possible use by lawyer Kostiantyn Hloba of a forged certificate of the non-existent Zakarpattia Territorial Defense.
