According to the operational command "North", Russian invaders continue to shell the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions. In total, 31 attacks (157 explosions) were recorded over the past day using various types of weapons.
According to the Northern Regional Office of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, during the day, Russian troops struck the border of Chernihiv region with various types of weapons in 8 cases. 32 explosions were recorded. In particular, the enemy fired in the direction of Krasnyi Khutor, allegedly with NAR from an airplane (6 explosions) and mortars at several communities.
Already at night, according to the Sumy RMA, Russians fired machine guns at the Sumy region - at the Yunakivska community (5 rounds).
According to the "Sever" military command, information about the destruction, deaths or injuries among the local population is being clarified.
