A 29-year-old Ukrainian citizen was detained in Luhansk on suspicion of involvement in the preparation of an assassination attempt on former SBU officer Vasyl Prozorov, who defected to Russia.
The Russian Federal Security Service has announced the detention in Luhansk of a Ukrainian citizen allegedly involved in the preparation of an attempted assassination attempt on former SBU officer Vasyl Prozorov. This was reported by Baza, UNN.
Details
According to the FSB, the 29-year-old detainee met "SBU agent" Krestyna Yaroslava in 2021, on whose instructions he allegedly watched Prozorov's house in the summer of 2023.
In April 2024, he allegedly transferred 10 thousand rubles to a courier for the delivery of explosive components camouflaged in cosmetics from Lithuania.
Earlier, the court arrested Ivan Paskar, who transported the improvised explosive device, and Volodymyr Holovchenkowho is accused of organizing the explosion.
Recall
On April 12, a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado belonging to Vasily Prozorov exploded on Korovinskoye Highway as soon as he turned the key in the ignition. The victim suffered a laceration to his leg but survived.
This is the second attempt on Prozorov's life in the last few months. It is also known that a former SBU officer collaborated with the enemy and fled to Russia.
