Ukrainian wrestlers Zhan Beleniuk and Parviz Nasibov have reached the semifinals in Greco-Roman wrestling at the Olympic Games in Paris. Beleniuk won in the 87 kg weight class, and Nasibov won in the 67 kg weight class.

Ukrainian wrestlers Zhan Beleniuk and Parviz Nasibov have qualified for the semifinals in Greco-Roman wrestling in their respective weight categories at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, UNN reports, citing the results on the Olympic website.

Details

Belenyuk reached the semifinals in Greco-Roman wrestling under 87 kg, defeating Kazakhstan's Nursultan Tursynov in the 1/4 finals 7:3.

Nasibov defeated Kyrgyzstan's Amantur Ismailov 7-6 in the 1/4 finals to advance to the semifinals in Greco-Roman wrestling at 67 kg.

The semifinals are expected to take place on August 7 at around 20:00.
