"At the moment, it is practically impossible" - Shevchenko on national team matches on Ukrainian territory

Shevchenko called it impossible to hold national team matches in Ukraine during the war. New coach Andrea Maldera will live and work in Lviv.

The President of the Ukrainian Association of Football, Andriy Shevchenko, stated that as long as hostilities continue in Ukraine, friendly matches involving the national team are practically impossible. Shevchenko stated this during a press conference at the UAF, reports UNN.

Responding to a question about whether it is possible that the national team will play at least a friendly or exhibition match on the territory of Ukraine in the near future, Shevchenko replied: "At the moment, while hostilities continue in Ukraine, this is practically impossible at the level of national teams."
At the club level, it might be possible. But it depends on the circumstances
