ARMA announces tender to select seller for Medvedchuk's seized yacht

For the first time in the history of Ukraine, the ARMA announced a tender for the sale of a seized asset located abroad - the Royal Romance yacht owned by Viktor Medvedchuk's associate, which is currently in the port of Trogir, Croatia.

On Wednesday, March 20, for the first time in the history of Ukraine and in the practice of the ARMA, a tender was launched for the sale of a seized asset located abroad, namely the yacht of collaborator Viktor Medvedchuk Royal Romance, which is located in the port of the Croatian city of Trogir. This was reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the ARMA.

It is noted that today a meeting of the Commission for the competitive selection of legal entities engaged in the sale of seized assets was held.

Today, we are experiencing a truly historic event not only for ARMA, but also for Ukraine. We are putting up for sale an expensive asset - a yacht owned by Viktor Medvedchuk

- said Grigol Katamadze, Chairman of the Competition Commission

Commission member Stanislav Petrov noted that this is the first and not the last seized asset that will serve and work for the benefit of Ukraine.

It is also noted that ARMA has officially received documents from the law enforcement and judicial authorities of Croatia regarding the absence of any other encumbrances, restrictions or civil law agreements that could prevent the sale of the yacht. 

From today, the documents from potential World Bidding Organizers will be accepted until April 18, 2024
