The explosion occurred at an oil depot in the Kaluga region of Russia after a drone crashed, damaging a gasoline tanker.

In the Kaluga region of Russia, a gasoline tanker exploded at an oil depot on the night of April 28 after a UAV crashed, Russian media report. In turn, the head of the Kaluga region denies the information, UNN reports

According to Baza,  last night, drones attacked the Kaluganaftelektroduct oil depot in Ludinove. Two airplane-type UAVs exploded as a result of the crash, causing an explosion of a gasoline tank with a volume of almost 700 cubic meters. Half an hour later, a third drone crashed on the territory of the oil depot.

In turn, the head of the Kaluga region, Vladislav Shapsha, said that the information about the explosion of the gasoline tanker was unreliable.

"Only the outer lining of the tank was damaged as a result of the UAV wreckage. There was no destruction or fire at the crash site," said Shapsha.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported 17 drones downed on Sunday night: 9 of them were shot down over the Bryansk region, 3 over the Kursk and Kaluga regions, and 2 over the Belgorod region.
