Ambassador Zaluzhny announced the departure of a convoy of 50 vehicles donated by the British to Ukraine. The cars were donated or transferred through the ULEZ recycling scheme to help Ukraine.
On Thursday, a convoy of cars left the Ukrainian Embassy in the UK for Ukraine, which were donated or transferred through the ULEZ vehicle recycling scheme by British residents, said Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK Valeriy Zaluzhny, UNN reports .

“Today, together with Deputy Mayor of London Seb Dance, members of the British Parliament, British-Ukrainian Aid project manager Iryna Makarukha, Transport UK London Bus COO Alan Pilbeam, Swindon Humanitarian Aid Partnership CEO Mike Bowden, volunteer Conal Cunningham, undefeated Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, and Ukrainian football legend Oleksiy Mykhailychenko, a convoy of 50 vehicles was sent, which were donated or transferred through the ULEZ vehicle recycling scheme by concerned UK residents,” Zaluzhny wrote on his Telegram channel.
The ambassador thanked everyone who supported this initiative and called on “everyone who has the opportunity to donate their car to Ukraine through the ULEZ program.
“These vehicles are someone's saved lives and a significant help to our country in the fight against the consequences of Russian aggression. Together we can do more,” the ambassador added.
