As noted, the fire broke out in one of the settlements of Shostka district after shelling from the territory of Russia.
The main epicenter of the fire was located in a two-story apartment of civilians, and there was a threat to nearby buildings.
The SES reported that the situation was complicated by the large area of burning.
The firefighters localized the fire, preventing its further spread, and subsequently extinguished it.
