A fire broke out at an infrastructure facility in the Ternopil region as a result of an attack by enemy UAVs, which led to a temporary interruption of electricity and gas supply in a neighboring village.

A fire broke out at an infrastructure facility in Ternopil region as a result of a night attack by Russian troops using Shahed attack drones , and there were power and gas outages, the Ternopil Regional Military Administration reported on Tuesday, UNN reports.

"Last night, as a result of attacks by enemy UAVs of the Shahed type, a fire broke out at an infrastructure facility in the Kremenets district," the Ternopil Regional Military Administration reported on Telegram.

Reportedly, 19 units of special equipment, 73 personnel, and a tactical robot were involved in the firefighting operations. "Elimination of the remains of the fire continues. No one was killed or injured," the Regional Military Administration said.

"During the attack by the 'Shaheda' in the nearest settlement to the damaged infrastructure facility, electricity and gas supply was suspended. As of 7:00 a.m., electricians have restored power to the settlement, and gas supply will be resumed soon," Ternopil Regional Military Administration said.

It is noted that an emergency response headquarters has been set up in the Kremenets district. "All structures are acting in accordance with their powers," the Regional Military Administration added.

"Please do not approach the scene of the emergency while the work to eliminate the consequences of the attack by enemy UAVs continues," the Regional Military Administration called.
