"Tonight, the Russians once again fought against ordinary high-rise buildings in Odesa — as of now, five people are known to be wounded and fires broke out in two buildings. Also, in Kryvyi Rih, a person was wounded due to a drone strike. In the Kharkiv region, they attacked railway infrastructure, hitting traction substations. There was damage and a fire in the railcars. Thousands of families were left without power due to the shelling. They also struck the Sumy and Zaporizhzhia regions," Zelenskyy noted on social media.
Russia continues to attack our energy sector, critical infrastructure, and civilian objects. During this night, there were 210 strike drones, and about 140 of them were 'Shaheds'. It is precisely such daily strikes that show more pressure on Russia is needed. It is necessary to weaken the aggressor so that Europe has more security
The President emphasized that "the continuation of the sanctions policy must happen, as well as the synchronization of all our sanctions with partners."
"Our long-range sanctions are bringing the Russians back to reality. And this is absolutely fair, and most importantly — it limits the Russian Federation's ability to drag out this war. If Russia does not want to move to diplomacy voluntarily, it must be forced to do so. And I am grateful to everyone who helps us in this," Zelenskyy indicated.
