In Brussels, President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico and invited him to Ukraine, reports UNN citing the Office of the President.

The head of state spoke about diplomatic efforts to achieve peace. The President and the Prime Minister discussed the results of the Group of Seven summit, which took place in Évian.
Zelensky thanked Slovakia for supporting Ukraine's European integration and the opening of the first negotiation cluster. Our country is ready to open the remaining clusters and counts on progress in the near future.

The leaders noted the importance of humanitarian aid to Ukraine from Slovakia, in particular the supply of medical equipment for one of the hospitals in the Vinnytsia region.
Special attention is paid to mutually beneficial cooperation in the energy sector, particularly the development of cross-border infrastructure.
The leaders also discussed holding the next round of intergovernmental Ukrainian-Slovak consultations. Zelensky invited Fico to visit Ukraine.
