US President Joe Biden has once again called on Congress to approve additional military aid for Ukraine and Israel as soon as possible. The American president stated this in his column for The Wall Street Journal, UNN reports.

Biden emphasized that both the Ukrainian military is holding back russia's offensive along the entire front line, and Israel, along with its allies, repelled a massive missile and drone attack by Iran last weekend.
Both Ukraine and Israel defended themselves against these attacks by maintaining their defenses and protecting their citizens. And both countries did so with crucial assistance from the United States
According to the US president, now is not the time to abandon friends, so the House of Representatives should pass urgent aid laws for Ukraine and Israel. He also noted that the security of the United States is at stake.

Biden also emphasized that military aid for Ukraine is not "writing checks" for Kyiv, but an investment in American industry.
According to him, the United States is ready to transfer part of its own weapons stockpile to Ukraine and restore it through purchases from American suppliers.
If Congress approves military aid to Ukraine and Israel, we will not be writing out forms. We will send military equipment from our own stockpiles, and then use the money authorized by Congress to replenish those stockpiles by buying from American suppliers. (...) He explained that it would bring "investment in America's industrial base" and provide jobs in many states.
