Ukraine has received 12 modular bridge systems from the World Bank with a total cost of over $15 million . This was reported by UNN with reference to the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine.

The agency says that the bridges will be installed in place of those destroyed as a result of hostilities.
As part of the World Bank's Restoration of Essential Logistics Infrastructure and Network Connectivity (RELINC) project, the State Agency for the Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine received 12 bridge systems (475 meters) worth more than USD 15 million
It is noted that the equipment was purchased by the UNOPS Ukraine.
The ministry also said that six more bridge systems with a total length of 238 meters are expected to be delivered in the coming weeks, as well as training on their installation.

The agency said that since December 2022, Ukraine has already received 6 modular bridges from Sweden, 18 from the Czech Republic, and 10 from Norway.
In addition, France has donated 3 temporary bridges for designated locations. Finland is preparing an aid package that will also include temporary modular bridges.
Also in June 2023, the first modular bridges arrived in Ukraine from American foundations: the non-profit foundation The Conflict and Development Foundation (CDF) and the Howard Buffett Foundation, which is financing the supply of 9 modular bridges to Ukraine.

The Ministry of Reconstruction stated that 24% of bridge structures in Ukraine are in critical condition. They are either inoperable or of limited serviceability.
