According to a White House representative, during the G7 summit, US President Donald Trump intends to hold a series of bilateral meetings, including with French President Emmanuel Macron, as well as the leaders of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and India. At the same time, negotiations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy are not currently included in the American leader's schedule. This information was also confirmed by sources involved in the summit preparations.

Ukraine is preparing for the opening of the first cluster of negotiations with the European Union and participation in the G7, EU, and NATO summits. The President expects new sanctions against the Russian Federation and the strengthening of air defense.
