Due to the deteriorating security situation, train routes in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Kharkiv Oblast and the Zaporizhzhia direction are being changed, Ukrzaliznytsia reported on Friday, UNN writes.
Due to the deteriorating security situation in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Kharkiv Oblast and the Zaporizhzhia direction, we are temporarily changing the routes of a number of trains
As stated, bus transfers provided by local authorities have been arranged on certain routes so that passengers can continue their journey:
- Kryvyi Rih - Dnipro;
- Pyatykhatky - Dnipro;
- Lozova - Orilka.
There will also be changes for passengers traveling to the stations of Kamianske-Pasazhyrske, Verkhnivtsi, Vilnohirsk and Verkhnodniprovsk.
"If you are traveling on trains No. 32 Przemyśl - Zaporizhzhia, No. 86 Lviv - Dnipro, No. 286 Lviv - Dnipro, No. 42 Truskavets - Dnipro or No. 40 Solotvyno - Zaporizhzhia, you can reach the station you need by electric train from Dnipro: 6035 Dnipro - Post Spysannia (departure from Dnipro at 16:42); 6037 Dnipro - Pyatykhatky (17:34); 6043 Dnipro - Pyatykhatky (20:20)", the statement reads.
As stated, "you do not need to buy a new ticket; your ticket will be valid for boarding the electric train at no extra charge".
We will limit trains with the longest delays in the western direction at Ternopil and Lviv, with a subsequent transfer
This is expected to "allow us to resume operating according to the schedule more quickly, but it will cause some inconvenience - we apologize for this in advance".
According to Ukrzaliznytsia, this concerns trains No. 41/42 Dnipro - Truskavets, No. 87/88 Dnipro - Kovel (departure from Kovel approximately +2:30), and No. 83/84 Dnipro - Mukachevo (return departure approximately +2:00). Turnaround delays will affect No. 285/286 Dnipro - Lviv (the train will depart from Lviv +2:00), No. 3/4 Dnipro - Uzhhorod (in the opposite direction, No. 29 Uzhhorod – Kyiv +1:00), No. 85/86 Dnipro - Lviv (from Lviv, No. 128 will depart +3:00), No. 119/120 Dnipro - Chełm (in the opposite direction, No. 24 Chełm – Kyiv +7:00), and No. 120/119 Chełm - Dnipro (+2:33 from Dnipro).
We understand how much these strikes have disrupted not only our schedule but also your plans, so we are ready to accept passengers with tickets for today's trains whose routes and schedules have been changed on any trains until the end of the day on August 8
Passengers will receive details about their trip, as noted, in personalized notifications in the Ukrzaliznytsia app. Travelers are asked to arrive at the stations in advance, listen carefully to announcements on trains and at stations, and observe the railway workers' safety requirements.
