Short-term rains and thunderstorms are expected in parts of Ukraine today, while in some other regions heat up to 38°C is possible on July 4, the Ukrainian Weather Center told UNN.

In the western, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, during the day and in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, there will be short-term rains and thunderstorms; in the rest of the country, no precipitation.
The wind is mostly northwest, southeast on the Left Bank, 5-10 m/s.
The temperature in the western and Zhytomyr regions is 10-15° at night, 19-24° during the day; in the rest of the country it is 16-21° at night, 28-33° during the day, and in the eastern, Sumy, Poltava, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia regions, in some places, the heat is 35-38°.
In Kyiv region
No precipitation at night, short-term rain during the day, thunderstorm in some places. Northwest wind, 5-10 m/s. Temperature at night 16-21°, during the day 28-33°, in Kyiv at night 19-21°, during the day about 30°.
