Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov held a working meeting with German Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius. Ukraine is preparing for the next "Ramstein" format meeting, which will take place on April 15, UNN reports.
During the conversation, the ministers discussed concrete solutions that will strengthen Ukraine both now and in the long term.
According to Fedorov, Ukraine, together with Germany, is preparing a number of joint projects:
🔹 significant strengthening of air defense;
🔹 additional funding for drones, including deep-strike and middle-strike directions;
🔹 development of joint technological solutions;
🔹 new formats for exchanging combat data.
"We are also developing cooperation in innovative areas, particularly in projects related to laser technologies," he added.
Germany remains one of Ukraine's key partners. I am grateful for the systemic support, especially during the winter, for the contribution to the "Czech initiative" and the supply of PAC-3 missiles - this decision was critical for the protection of the Ukrainian sky this winter. Our priority is to scale up air defense and, together with partners, ensure sustainable and long-term solutions for the protection of the Ukrainian sky.
