On March 27, a summit of the "coalition of the willing" will take place in Paris, where they will discuss the urgent needs of Ukraine and the future security infrastructure. The meeting is a continuation of efforts to provide security guarantees for Ukraine.

During the "coalition of the willing" summit in Paris, scheduled for March 27, both the urgent needs of Ukraine and the future security infrastructure will be discussed, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha said during a press conference on Wednesday, reports UNN correspondent.

"I would divide it into two blocks, because usually at such meetings, first of all, they talk about the urgent needs of Ukraine "right now." This is what strengthens Ukrainian positions, this is what strengthens the Ukrainian army, this is what strengthens our defense capabilities. The second block is the future security infrastructure, the future security package, guarantees," Sybiha said.

He added that it is about a substantive discussion of urgent issues in detail, so each such meeting is a continuation of previous discussions. The next stage of discussions is "at a really higher level."

"In addition, this is an opportunity for the Head of State to hold bilateral meetings with our allies," Sybiha added.

The Minister also expressed the opinion that such security meetings are important, as Europe is a key component of Ukraine's peace efforts. According to him, it is necessary that our state, together with Europe, can promote common positions.

Addition

French President Emmanuel Macron will host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the Elysee Palace on the evening of March 26.

The purpose of the meeting will be to "prepare" the "coalition of the willing" summit ready to provide security guarantees to Ukraine, which will take place the next day in Paris, the Elysee Palace added.

The new summit on "peace and security for Ukraine" is a continuation of meetings held in Paris and London in recent weeks to establish "security guarantees" for Ukraine as part of a possible future peace agreement with Russia.

According to a diplomatic source contacted by Agence France-Presse, more than 20 countries from the European Union and/or NATO, including Great Britain, Canada, Norway and Turkey, have been invited.
