"Telegram just hit 1 billion monthly active users - and now it's getting Grok AI" - Musk wrote on X.

Musk also emphasized that in order to get free access to the chatbot, you need to have a premium account in Telegram. Grok joins the chat at no extra charge.
However, half an hour after Musk published this news, the chatbot "went down". It is assumed that he was not ready for so many requests.
