Spanish law is preparing the first concrete national civil protection plan to counter the "military risk", taking into account the possibility that the war will affect the territory of Spain. UNN will write about this with reference to 20minutos.

Citing sources in the country's Interior Ministry, the publication writes that the first specific plan for the protection of citizens in the event of a possible military conflict is part II of the National Civil Protection Strategy, a five-year initiative approved by the National Security Council on October 15 and which will soon be published in the official state journal.
The strategy, which replaced the strategy in force from 2019 to 2024, defines for the first time the "military risk" in the framework of civil protection emergencies and involves the development and publication of "specific plans that are currently being worked on," according to the same document.
Interior Ministry sources said that employees of the National Directorate of Civil Protection and the Ministry of Defense, among others, are involved in the preparation of the Spanish plan. The ultimate goal is to create a special document that will inform the population about what should be done in the event of a risk caused by a military conflict, in accordance with the mandate established by the National Security Council.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated at the Global Peace Summit that freezing the conflict is a recipe for further wars, and it is necessary to support the integrity of Ukraine and ensure a just and lasting peace that will restore its sovereignty.
At the same time, the largest EU countries expressed their readiness to increase military and financial assistance to Ukraine in the event of a reduction in support from the United States. This was stated by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski after a meeting with European colleagues.
