Three miners were injured in Donetsk region as a result of enemy shelling of a mine. Consumption restrictions are in place in Kharkiv region and Kryvyi Rih. Imports and emergency aid from neighboring countries are being used to cover the demand for electricity. This was reported on Monday by the Ministry of Energy, UNN writes.

Details

"Due to network restrictions on the transmission system operator's lines, blackout schedules were applied yesterday in Kharkiv region. Restrictions in this region and in Kryvyi Rih are still in effect today," the Energy Ministry said.

Ukraine reportedly received emergency aid from Poland, Slovakia, and Romania in the evening hours of the previous day. The total amount of supplies reportedly amounted to less than one percent of daily consumption.

"Also, at the request of the Ukrainian transmission system operator, emergency electricity is supplied during the current day. The total volume of electricity is projected to be up to 2% of the projected daily consumption," the statement said.

Consequences of shelling

"Yesterday the enemy shelled one of the mines in Donetsk region. Three workers were injured. The repeated shelling of the enterprise took place at night. The buildings were damaged," the Energy Ministry said.

De-energization

Yesterday, in Odesa region, as indicated, due to a technological failure, equipment at a high-voltage substation was briefly turned off, and household consumers lost power.

A high-voltage substation in Ivano-Frankivsk region was briefly shut down due to a technical failure. As a result, household consumers and one legal consumer lost power, the agency said.

In Sumy region, a high-voltage overhead line was damaged by a falling tree, causing power outages. The line is now back in operation, the ministry said.

Consequences of bad weather

In Donetsk region, a power line was disconnected due to strong winds, and household consumers and two mines (25 people were working underground) lost power. The workers came to the surface.

Situation at ZNPP

"The water level in the cooling pond is 15.43 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant," the Ministry of Energy said.

Import and export

For the current day, electricity imports are forecasted at 7858 MWh. No exports are expected.
