He recalled that in the previous fight against Usyk, the judges’ decision went in favor of the Ukrainian.

In May 2024, Oleksandr Usyk became the undisputed world heavyweight boxing champion by defeating Briton Tyson Fury.
In December of the same year, Usyk defeated Briton Tyson Fury in a rematch in Riyadh. The champion retained the WBA Super, WBO, WBC, IBO and The Ring heavyweight titles.
In July 2025, it became known that former English professional boxer Tyson Fury might have another fight against Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, the undisputed world heavyweight champion, on April 18, 2026.
