A resident of Kharkiv approached a girl he barely knew, asked her permission to shoot her with an air pistol, and, according to him, despite her refusal, still carried out his plan. This is stated in the verdict of the Saltivsky District Court of July 22, as reported by UNN.

It is noted that the incident occurred on the evening of May 20: the man, along with his friends, while on Yuvileiny Avenue in Kharkiv, saw a girl he barely knew approaching him.
Having the intent to commit hooligan acts, out of clear disrespect for society, ... seeking to assert himself before his friends by humiliating a female person younger than him, he stopped near the victim and stated his intention to shoot her with an air pistol
It is indicated that after this, the accused shot the girl in the left leg. In the courtroom, the man fully admitted his guilt and repented.
Since he had a "gas pistol" tucked into his waistband and wanted to show off the pistol to his friends, he took it out and, addressing the girl he barely knew, asked if he could shoot her, to which she refused. But he shot in the direction of the girl, hitting her in the leg, which made the girl scream and complain of pain in her knee
The man also said that the next day, realizing that he had acted badly, he wrote a message to the girl, in which he apologized for what he had done, to which she replied that she forgave him. He referred to being ashamed of his actions, noted that he had drawn appropriate conclusions and promised not to commit illegal acts in the future.
The court found the man guilty of hooliganism and sentenced him to three years of imprisonment with a probationary period of one year. The air pistol was destroyed.

Earlier this month, a 46-year-old Kyiv resident was notified of suspicion for hooliganism with a weapon. The man shot at a volunteer's car, mistakenly taking it for a car that had splashed him with water.
