The Ukrainian IT industry continues to grow, increasing its share in exports and paying more than $1 billion in taxes in 2024. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development - Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov on Monday in Telegram, UNN writes.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, our engineers and developers have tremendous experience and expertise. They create products needed all over the world. Ukraine exports IT services to 147 countries. The top markets are the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Israel, Switzerland and Poland.
And the most technological companies on the planet are eager to become clients of Ukraine. These are well-known giants such as Microsoft, Meta, NASA, IBM, Siemens, Google or Porsche, Fedorov pointed out.
Ukraine, according to him, has long established itself as a center of technological expertise. Ukrainian technological products BetterMe, GitLab, Cargofy, Restream, Reply, People.ai, MacPaw, Grammarly or Petcube are used by people and businesses all over the world. "It is important for us that they know that these are technologies created in Ukraine," Fedorov emphasized.
"We need to stimulate the emergence of even more such Ukrainian companies. To this end, we are already focusing on building an effective ecosystem for the development of technology business," the Deputy Prime Minister noted.
