The report said that India issued a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) - a corresponding notification from the aviation authorities to warn pilots.
This has already led to changes in air traffic between countries and in the Middle East.
India announced its intention to close the sky to aircraft associated with Pakistan the day before. The government cites the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam as the reason.

India is also preparing to ban Pakistani ships from entering its ports. Other measures include the cancellation of visas for Pakistani citizens, the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, and the reduction in the number of diplomats in the High Commissions of both countries.

The day before, April 29, Pakistani and Indian forces began fighting along the international border in the Pargwal-Akhnur sector of Jammu state.
Earlier in the Kashmir region, militants opened fire on a group of tourists. According to law enforcement officials, 26 people died and 17 were injured. In response, India banned Pakistani citizens from entering on special visas, and all military advisers of the Pakistani mission in India were declared persona non grata.
