President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the educational digital platform "Mriya" already covers 40 schools in six regions, and its large-scale expansion is planned for 2025. The Head of State announced this during a speech at the EdTech event from the educational ecosystem of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Education and Science, reports UNN correspondent.
From September 1 last year to today, 40 Ukrainian schools from six regions are already using "Mriya". These are Odesa region, Mykolaiv region, our Dnipro region, Zaporizhzhia region, Kyiv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions... And this year, Mriya will become national. There are already more than a thousand applications from schools across the country to connect to "Mriya"
The President also cited statistics on the use of the platform during its test operation:
- more than 2 million evaluations;
- 313 thousand views of children's progress by parents;
- 150 thousand views of lesson details;
- 325 thousand homework assignments;
- 600 thousand uses of calendar-thematic plans.
This year, Mriya is scaling up to the entire country and expanding: we are starting a preschool pilot
According to the President, kindergarten teachers are currently forced to spend up to 10 hours a week on routine work that is not directly related to teaching children. At the same time, almost 90% of administrations prepare reports manually, which significantly complicates the work process.
In addition, parents often do not have a complete picture of how their child's day is going in preschool.
"Mriya" for preschool will change everything. Well, maybe not everything, but a lot. This is a solution that really meets real needs
Recall
In September 2024, the piloting of the state educational application and web portal "Mriya" started in 5 educational institutions of the Kyiv region.
