US President Donald Trump has become so politically toxic that voters now say Joe Biden, whose unpopularity forced him into early retirement, did a better job as president. This is reported by Axios, according to UNN.

It is noted that in his year in office, Trump squandered almost all the advantages that brought him the presidency. Thus, three polls indicate "the same alarming trend for a president who has done everything possible to erase his predecessor's legacy":
- according to Harvard CAPS/Harris, 51% of voters believe Trump is doing a worse job than Biden, compared to 49% who say he is doing a better job;
- Rasmussen Reports (a polling center that supports Trump - ed.) found that 48% of voters believe Biden did a better job as president, compared to 40% who chose Trump. Another 8% said both presidents performed "about the same";
- YouGov/Economist indicates that 46% of American adults rate Trump as doing a worse job than Biden, compared to 40% who say he is doing better. Another 7% said "about the same."
The publication also indicates that Americans' optimism about the future has fallen to its lowest level in almost two decades: thus, according to Gallup, only 59.2% expect a high quality of life in five years.
