In the morning, the enemy continued its strikes - consequences were recorded in Kharkiv and the region, Sumy, Donetsk region, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Kherson, and again in Odesa, where another foreign vessel was damaged, local authorities and law enforcement officers reported, writes UNN.
Kyiv
Unfortunately, the capital is experiencing the pain of loss - the Russians took the lives of four Kyiv residents, including a 12-year-old child. 60 Kyiv residents were injured, including four children. Currently, 30 people have been hospitalized for treatment, where they are receiving medical care

Dnipro
A 48-year-old man who sustained severe injuries as a result of the night attack by Russians on Dnipro died in the hospital. Doctors fought to the last. Unfortunately, they could not save him... Four lives were cut short by the enemy's strike on the city

Odesa
As of now, there are already eight dead in our city as a result of this massive night attack. 26 people were injured. Rescuers and police continue to work, as there is information about missing persons
Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, clarified that "as a result of the night and evening shelling of civilian infrastructure in Odesa, the deaths of 9 people have been confirmed."
Earlier, 23 injured in Odesa were also reported.
Kiper also reported another - morning - Russian attack on Odesa, which resulted in three injured people and had consequences for civilian and port infrastructure in the Odesa region.
"In Odesa, as a result of a drone attack on the territory of one of the city's markets, unfortunately, according to preliminary data, three people were injured, including a child," noted Kiper, adding that the injured are being provided with all necessary assistance.
Also, according to him, the roof and glazing of a car dealership were damaged, as well as 8 cars that were inside. At another location, a private house and a car were hit.
A UAV hit a civilian cargo ship under the flag of Nauru, followed by a fire in one of the containers. The fire was extinguished by the crew. The vessel continued its movement. No information about dead or injured has been received
Kharkiv and region
After the night attack by the Russian Federation on Kharkiv, which left two injured, the enemy continued its strikes in the region in the morning.
The enemy attacked the central part of Kharkiv. A Russian drone hit the Kyiv district. According to preliminary data, the insulation of a three-story building is burning over an area of about 100 square meters. No calls for medical assistance have been received at this time

This morning, the occupiers attacked Merefa. As a result of the shelling by an enemy UAV, a woman died, her age is being clarified. Six more people were injured. A civilian enterprise was damaged," stated Syniehubov.
Kherson
Today, the Russian army once again attacked residential areas of Kherson. The homes of residents of the Korabelny district came under fire. The roofs, walls, and windows of the houses were damaged by the blast wave and fragments. As a result of the shelling, two women - 71 and 45 years old - who were in the house at the time of the strike, were injured. The injured were hospitalized in a state of moderate severity
Before this, Prokudin warned: "We are receiving information that today, April 16, the Russians plan massive strikes on the center of Kherson using drones and artillery. Kherson residents, do not go outside without urgent need and refrain from visiting the central part of the city."
The enemy also attacked the energy infrastructure of southern Ukraine, causing power outages in the Kherson region.
