A Space of Care for Veterans has opened in Bila Tserkva - a place of support for those undergoing treatment and recovery after service. This was reported by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, according to UNN.
Details
The Space was created as a point of comprehensive assistance directly in a medical institution. Here, veterans can receive individual support on medical, psychological, social, administrative, and legal issues, as well as assistance in building a further path back to civilian life.
A multidisciplinary team of specialists - doctors, rehabilitation specialists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and prosthetists - works with veterans at the hospital. A specialist in supporting war veterans and demobilized persons is provided, who provides initial consultations, helps navigate state programs, and coordinates the receipt of necessary services.
It is noted that a separate area is mental health support. Since November 2025, the hospital has been operating a Mental Health Center that provides primary and secondary psychosocial assistance to veterans, military personnel, and internally displaced persons. The facility also has a primary prosthetics office for civilians and military personnel.
Recall
