98 battles took place on the front line yesterday, most of them in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in its morning summary, showing a map of hostilities, writes UNN.

In total, 98 combat engagements were recorded over the past day
According to updated information, yesterday the enemy launched 85 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 117 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they carried out about five thousand shellings, including 108 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2438 kamikaze drones for attacks.
Over the past day, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, a command post, and the enemy's Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile system.
Situation by directions
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy tried twice to break through the defensive lines of our defenders near Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, 11 attacks by the invaders took place yesterday. Our defenders repelled assault actions of the enemy near Petropavlivka, Zahryzove, and Nova Kruhliakivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked six times. They tried to break into our defense near the settlements of Zelena Dolyna, Borivska Andriivka, Novoliubivka, Dibrova, and Katerynivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked twice in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 11 attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Krymske.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 28 assault actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Vodyane Druhe, Promin, Pokrovsk, Leontovychi, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Nadiyivka, Troyitske, Andriivka, Tarasivka, and Ulakly.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy carried out 13 attacks towards Kostiantynopil and Burlatske over the past day.
In the Huliaipole direction, our defenders repelled one attack near Novopil.
In the Orikhiv direction, the occupation forces stormed the positions of the Defense Forces three times in the areas of Mali Shcherbaky and Kamianske.
The Defense Forces are making efforts to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory and successfully repelled two offensive actions of the enemy in the Prydniprovskyi direction, towards the settlement of Sadove.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy did not conduct active operations over the past day.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue operations in the Kursk region. Over the past day, the enemy launched 34 air strikes, dropping 43 guided aerial bombs, carried out 375 shellings, 17 of them from MLRS. Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 assault actions of the invaders
