The Ministry of Health of Ukraine reported that 24% of water samples at bathing sites do not meet microbiological standards. Of 104 samples taken, 25 were found to be contaminated.
The Ministry of Health has updated the list of beaches where swimming is allowed and prohibited. 23 out of 112 water samples showed an excess of E. coli index, and 32 out of 92 samples did not meet chemical standards.
