Zelenskyy announced ambitious plans to open all six clusters of negotiations with the EU in 2025. Stefanishyna confirmed the positive dynamics and the possibility of opening the first 15 negotiation chapters in the first half of 2025.

During Poland's presidency of the European Union, Ukraine expects to open at least two clusters in the EU accession negotiations. In general, there is an ambitious goal to open all clusters next year. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting of the All-Ukrainian Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, UNN reports.

"Under Poland's presidency in the EU, we expect to open at least two clusters. There are six clusters in total. To be honest, we have an ambitious goal to open all clusters next year. This is the task. But six clusters is a very serious, ambitious goal," Zelensky said.

The President noted that Poland is an ally of Ukraine.

"There are some questions, there are disputes about some details, but nevertheless, this is our ally and partner. We must not lose the relationship between us and Poland, but we must defend Ukrainian interests," Zelenskyy said.

Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice Olha Stefanishyna said that Ukraine is making good progress in the negotiations.

"Following the visit of the Danish Prime Minister and your talks, the Minister for European Affairs has already arrived in Ukraine. We have planned the Danish presidency, the opening of the negotiating sections that are planned for the Danish presidency," Stefanishyna said.

She also said that together with the Polish side, with the new European Commissioner for Enlargement, Martha Kos, they planned how to open the first 15 negotiating chapters on the rule of law in the first half of 2025, which is absolutely possible.

"Ukraine is moving dynamically. We have a positive assessment based on the results of the expansion report. We have agreements on our commitments that we have to fulfill, all the prerequisites for the opening of the 1st and 2nd cluster. This process will certainly not be easy, because in addition to our work, we need to negotiate with the 27 EU member states. But compared to previous periods, these relations are quite strong. There is an understanding that the decision on Ukraine's membership in the EU has already been made and we are moving as dynamically as possible," Stefanishyna said.

She noted that the main decisions are due in April.

"These are certain political processes in Poland, but I think that the EU countries and, above all, Ukraine realize that there is a specific action plan that will avoid the influence of these processes on important strategic decisions for Ukraine," Stefanishyna said.
