Russian troops launch an air strike in Zaporizhzhia, destroying residential buildings and damaging an oncology hospital. The attack left one dead and one wounded, and rescuers are conducting search operations.

"Zaporizhzhia. Russian troops attacked the city with air bombs. An ordinary residential apartment building, private houses, and the building of an oncology hospital were destroyed. People are being searched for under the rubble. All services are on the spot. Unfortunately, we know about the deceased. My condolences to the family and friends. There are wounded. Everyone is being provided with the necessary assistance," Zelensky wrote on social media.
"Each such Russian strike not only kills people and destroys lives, but also destroys the meaning of any words about the lack of conversations with Russia, some calls to the Kremlin. They enjoy the deaths of people there. And that is why air defense for Ukraine, the ability to destroy Russian military aircraft, the permission for Ukraine to carry out long-range strikes against the occupier - this is the real protection of life. And I am grateful to everyone in the world who helps with this," the President emphasized.
