Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that influential world leaders, including the US, China, and India, should tell Kremlin head Vladimir Putin that he must stop the war, indicating that there is no certainty that compromise dialogues with the aggressor are working, writes UNN.
"I believe that President Trump, President Xi, Prime Minister Modi, and other influential world leaders should tell Putin that he must stop this war. They cannot tell Ukraine: 'You must stop the war.' We are defending ourselves. We are not aggressors. What is there to stop? All together, we must stop Putin. What does it mean to be a great leader? It means stopping the war through diplomacy."

Zelenskyy also indicated that "the deployment of foreign troops on the contact line would make the start of a new war very dangerous for Russia." "They are afraid of support forces, bases, and international representatives. If there is no such presence, no words will stop Putin," Zelenskyy said.
"And if we really want to stop him, I'm not sure that influential countries can be mediators. If it's mediation, he doesn't feel guilty. That's a big problem," the President continued.
