Zelenskyy imposes sanctions against Tabachnyk, Azarov and Tsarev

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has imposed sanctions on a number of individuals and legal entities. The sanctions list includes former Ukrainian officials, Russian politicians and organizations accused of war crimes.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky enacted the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against, among others, former Yanukovych-era Minister of Education and Science Dmytro Tabachnyk, former Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, fugitive ex-MP Oleh Tsarev, the so-called head of the "LPR" Leonid Pasichnyk and the so-called "head" of the occupied Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, UNN reports .

Thus, Zelenskyy, by his decree No. 758/2023, enacted the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine to impose sanctions against Dmytro Tabachnyk, Mykola Azarov, Serhiy Aksyonov, Leonid Pasichnyk, Oleh Tsarev, State Duma deputy Dmytro Svyatash, and former Ukrainian TV presenter Yuriy Kot.

Zelenskyy's decree No. 759/2023 imposes sanctions on 100 more individuals.
The sanctions list also includes 37 legal entities that are likely to be involved in the deportation of Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories.
The sanctions include the non-profit organization Quartal Louis, founded by Russian Children's Rights Commissioner Maria Lvova-Belova, who is accused of war crimes for deporting Ukrainian children.
