Zelenskyy declares readiness for direct negotiations with Putin

Zelenskyy is ready for direct negotiations with Putin without waiting for US assistance. Currently, Washington is primarily focused on the situation surrounding Iran.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he is ready to begin direct negotiations with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin right now, without waiting for the US to finish resolving other international conflicts. The Head of State told journalists about this, UNN reports.
"I am ready to start direct negotiations with Putin right now, so as not to wait until the US finishes all the conflicts in the world and then our turn comes,"
The President also noted that Washington's attention is currently largely focused on the situation surrounding Iran.
"We are not in focus today. In my opinion, Iran is the number one issue for the US,"
