Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported on the operational measures taken after the horrific terrorist attack by the russians - a missile strike on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital. The young patients were immediately transferred to various medical institutions in Kyiv.
For children from Okhmatdyt it is more important than ever to be together, to continue treatment with their doctors, to see familiar faces
Today, together with Health Minister Viktor Liashko, the Prime Minister visited the locations where it is planned to relocate some of the departments of Okhmatdyt until the hospital is restored. According to the Government's instruction, these are Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospitals #1 and #2. The process of moving equipment is currently underway.
It is important that the new locations provide the necessary conditions for children's stay and treatment
They also visited specialized medical institutions, such as the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the National Cancer Institute, which temporarily admitted some patients.
All of these medical institutions have allocated the best facilities and equipment for young patients. I am grateful to the entire medical community for their prompt response and fulfillment of the Government's order
In addition, the Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Health to immediately submit the relevant lists and keep this issue under control.
