Woman hit by train in Kyiv region, police investigate circumstances

On April 9, a woman was fatally injured by a Lviv-Kharkiv passenger train near Tarasivka station in Fastiv district, Kyiv region, while sitting on the railroad tracks.
On March 9, in the morning, a fatal incident occurred in Fastiv district of Kyiv region - a passenger train "Lviv-Kharkiv" hit a woman. According to the Main Department of the National Police of Kyiv Region, law enforcement officers are currently identifying the woman who was hit by the train, UNN reports .
Today, on April 9, at about 10 a.m., a driver reported that an unknown person had been hit near Tarasivka station. The investigative team has preliminarily established that a Lviv-Kharkiv passenger train hit a woman
It is noted that at the time of the accident, the woman was sitting on the railroad tracks. The driver used a horn and emergency braking, but the tragedy could not be avoided. The woman died at the scene from her injuries.
The unidentified person appeared to be about 50 years old, wearing a black and white jacket, a blue sweater and white pants, and gray slippers.
