Law enforcement officers tracked down a suspect in Kyiv region who confessed to the murder of a 45-year-old man during their joint drinking. During the meeting, they had a conflict, then the offender beat his opponent on the head and body, which led to the latter's death.

Criminal police officers tracked down the man, who confessed to the following:
The defendant committed the murder before the full-scale invasion began in February 2022. The disappearance of a 52-year-old man, a resident of the Skvyra community, was reported to the police by his niece. It is known that the missing man was drinking alcohol with a 45-year-old friend.
During the conflict , the attacker hit his opponent several times on the head with a metal kettle, then picked up a wooden ruble and beat him on the head and body of his friend, after which the latter died on the spot.
To hide the traces of the crime, the offender hid the body in his house.
Investigators served the suspect a notice of suspicion of premeditated murder (Part 1 Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The court imposed a custody as a measure of restraint on the man.
