What measures are being implemented in Kyiv region to support veterans: Kravchenko gave explanations

Kyiv region is implementing a large-scale program to support war veterans and military personnel. In 2024, the region received funds for 478 apartments and is developing a network of veterans' hubs.
On behalf of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Kyiv region is systematically implementing a state strategy aimed at meeting the needs of combatants and war veterans. This was stated by Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv RMA, on his Facebook page, UNN reports.

In particular, in 2024, Kyiv region received over UAH 1.1 billion from the state budget to purchase 478 apartments. In addition, the first inclusive town of 59 houses was built thanks to the support of Andriy Zasukha's charitable foundation and Kolos Kovalivka FC.
There are 9 veteran hubs in the region. In particular, there are 3 classic hubs in Boryspil, Brovary and Irpin, and 6 veteran spaces. A hub in Bila Tserkva will open soon.
This year, funding for regional programs to support veterans amounts to UAH 170 million.
Kravchenko spoke about the programs being implemented in the Kyiv region:
Financial support is provided for veterans and family members of the victims;
We support the development of veteran businesses. There are already 98 veteran-owned businesses in the region;
We provide psychological and rehabilitation assistance. To speed up the process of setting up rehabilitation units, we purchase the necessary equipment;
On the basis of the Kyiv Regional Rehabilitation Center, there is an innovative center of the national RECOVERY network with 50 beds;
Together with the American philanthropist Dell Loy Hansen, we are working on the construction of a new rehabilitation building with modern operating and intensive care units, a diagnostic department and an orthopedic and prosthetic laboratory on the territory of one of the regional medical institutions;
The regional budget covers the cost of therapeutic dental services, surgical dental services, dental prosthetics and maxillofacial surgery for active military personnel and war veterans;
We organize sports and recreational activities with the participation of veterans and military personnel;
We support the development of adaptive clubs that rehabilitate veterans. There are six adaptive clubs called Active Parks - Unstoppable.
"We continue to work together with districts and communities of Kyiv region, NGOs and philanthropists to create comfortable conditions for those who defended our country," Ruslan Kravchenko added.
