A spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service reported no threats on the border with Belarus and a stable situation. All units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces are in full control of the border from Volyn to Chernihiv.
The spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, said that there is currently no threat to Ukraine on the border with Belarus. According to him, the situation in this area remained stable, with no changes that could threaten the country's security.
He said this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine, reports UNN.
Belarus remains in Russia's sphere of influence, so this area is still a priority for us. Our goal is to maintain strong defense positions on this border
He also added that all units of Ukraine's defense forces, including border guards, the National Guard, and the Armed Forces, fully control the length of the border with Belarus, from Volyn to Chernihiv.
According to him, the build-up of defense capabilities continues.
