The Ministry of Defense has announced the introduction of military registration through online services without visiting a military registration and enlistment center in 2025. Verification will take place through Bank ID, SMS documents and the Unified State Demographic Register.

The Ministry of Defense announced the introduction of military registration in 2025 without visiting a military registration and enlistment center, which will be made possible through Bank ID verification, through confirmation of documents from the State Migration Service, the Unified State Demographic Register.

This was reported by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and his deputy Kateryna Chernogorenko during a briefing, UNN reports .

Details

Now, in order to register with the CCP, a person needs to come in, make a physical visit, and perform the appropriate verification, when we see who is in front of us, take their documents and have the opportunity to check them. In 2025, we want to launch an opportunity not to go to the TCC and present your paper identity documents, but to make it possible through, for example, verification in Bank ID, through confirmation of documents from the State Migration Service, the Unified State Demographic Register

- Chernogorenko said.

She stated that work on this is already underway, but some changes to the legislation are needed. “But the main idea is that a person can register with the state on his or her smartphone from any convenient place, become liable for military service and show that he or she is fulfilling the duty according to the law through such an online tool. All of this means turning the Reserve into an absolute full-fledged alternative to the Conscription Commission. That is, Ukrainians themselves must decide whether to go physically or do it through an online tool,” Chernogorenko added.

Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said that the ministry is working on the legal, technical, technological and legislative levels to implement such functionality.

In this regard, as we have already said, our goal, if possible, is to turn Reserve+ into a nationwide recruiting center to replace the offline points that are now popularly called TCCs. This does not mean that TCCs are bad or that something is wrong

- Umerov noted.

Umerov emphasized that the ministry has made it a principle not to harm the existing system.

We hear, we know - it's a challenge. It's a huge pain. For our part, we have been working on this concept to turn it into an office for servicemen. There were several other concepts. We do not stop to find solutions in this regard

- the minister added.

Recall

The Ministry of Defense has been working for one year on the transformation of the TCC and of the JV. It is about the digitalization of some TCC services.
